AND THE KING WAS BORN

Kingdoms & Cards came into my brain in the month of May from the divine, when I was feeling down and wondered why life is so absurd and if I could get out of it.

CREATION OF THE IDEA

On March 31st, I had gotten introduced by my friend Jenny to a woman in my city who was into selling and making card games and immediately thought to contact her. Would it not  be nice to develop something unique that could be marketed to everyone in the country.  I originally had this idea about a board game centered around our local gods in Nigeria but it quickly got complex and I discarded it.

Until 6th of may I thought about a combination of local games to birth a new one that would be simple and fun to play, and that is how Kingdoms & Cards was born, taking from NAIJA WHOT, LUDO and ROCK PAPER SCISSORS ~ I created something Unique! And I am proud of it. 

I started the development of Kingdoms and Cards on May 8th after discussing the idea I had conceived with the CEO of Alogames.fun ( as known on Instagram as of Now) a card and board game company , with the excitement I rushed into the week with the aim of developing a prototype for her and my friends to test and see if I was being delusional or if it was actually a good idea.  

To my surprise after completing the prototype and distributing it on May 21 , It was Generally loved by my friends and that made me super pumped! All sorts of ideas came into my head on how to make it better , even including a story mode ( more on that in future logs ) and now after being private for a while , I let it out in the public.

So I can say that I own this game and the idea , It is in development by me ( Dan Odin ) and all persons I've discussed this with, without my permission may not claim it as theirs or build similar. 

Get creative and do your own thing! 

ABOUT KINGDOMS AND CARDS 

Kingdoms&Cards to put it shortly is a game that balances skill and luck, anyone can win and how you play is entirely up to you! 

As  of now a prototype exists which you can play against an Ai i created to give you the best feel of competition and uncertainty, as well as a grounded, classical introduction to this beautiful card game. 

THE FUTURE OF THE KING 

It is in safe hands, this Kingdom shall rise and all will be welcomed to participate. 

As of now I'm trying to secure fundings from investors to get this developed into the most beautiful unique game ever made! 

I'm still thinking about how to go on this, I and my bank account as of now can not really carry out the epicness I plan for this game!
